Fantastico is just how the name implies it’s fantastic. It’s one of the most popular 3rd party add-ons that can be purchased and added to cPanel. Fantastico is probably one of the most advanced script installer we’ve ever seen. Currently it can install a large amount and array of scripts, ranging from bulletin boards to content management systems. Fantastico comes FREE with each IGN/IndoVPS web hosting account.

Once logged into Fantastico, you simply need to select an application from the list located at the left column and follow the steps given during the process. The chosen application will be installed on your SiteGround web hosting account within minutes. The fantastico system is designed to update these programs with the newest version on a regular basis, users can be assured they are getting the latest stable version of the software and that it’s installed correctly and properly.

Fantastico Extras

Fantastico offers a set of tools that will help you easily manage your scripts. Please, scroll down the list of tools offered and you will find the Extras menu

Language – This option is used to change the default language set by the administrator of the server. Current Languages include: Dutch, English, French, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.

Side Menu Appearance – This option can be used the change the side menu appearance.

The possible options are:

  • Full List – The full list option is normally set as the default and is used to list all the programs that can be installed and used in one long list categorized by the type of programs.
  • Drop down menus – The drop down menu option is used to list the three main categories, Navigation, Scripts and Extras. This will display each main category as a drop down. This is useful for users with a slower connection, who do not want to load a large amount of information at once.
  • Email Notification – Users can submit their email address in this section and the system will email them when a new script or program has been installed, modified, or even updated. If it’s been updated it will inform the users so they can login to the system and update the scripts that are currently installed to the newest versions.

Installations Overview – This section will display the current scripts or programs that are installed, their location and version number.

Navigation – This menu has two links, one for the cPanel home page for that account and one for the Fantastico home page for that account. These are normally located at the top of the page.

cPanel 11 Documentation – Create – Upload Branding Style

Overview

This option on the “Branding Editor” page when clicked on will bring you to a page that serves as two functions. It gives you the ability to create a new branding style and the ability to upload a new branding style from your hard-drive that you may have created or edited offline.

Create a New Branding Style

This option allows you to create a copy of the current default style and makes it into a new style. It is then added to and listed in the “Available Branding Styles” section on the “Branding Editor” page.

Type in the name of the new style you would like to create and click on Create. You will see a success message letting you know that you just created a new style. You will be offered the ability to jump right to editing this new style online (for more info see “Editing Branding Styles Online“) at the bottom of the page reporting the success of creating this new style.

Upload a New Branding Style

This option allows you to upload an edited style or new style from your hard-drive. Once the upload is completed, the new style can be found in the listing of “Available Branding Styles” on the “Branding Editor” page.

To upload a branding style click on Browse… and navigate to where the .tar.gz file is that you archived, select it and commit to uploading the file. You will now see the path to the file on your computer in the text area next to Browse… and the file will begin uploading once you click on Upload.

NOTE: Branding styles can contain any of the images in “Edit Header and Footer Images”, “Edit Main Page Icons”, “Edit UI”, “Edit Preview Images” and a local.css style-sheet. All of these are options you will find on the “Edit Branding Style” page when editing a style online.

Any images that are not included from those sections will appear as the default images for the style. A branding style should be a .tar.gz archive containing only images with the same names as the filenames listed in each branding editor section. Branding styles must have all files in the root of the archive. Files in subdirectories will be ignored.

Caranya mudah, misal domain yang anda gunakan adalah website.com. Kami akan membuatkan account untuk domain website.com pada server reseller (yang khusus kami gunakan untuk domain reseller). Pada server ini anda hanya mendapatkan akses cPanel tanpa WHM.
Setelah itu kami akan membuatkan Anda account reseller pada 3 server kami, misal dengan menggunakan nama jakarta.website.com (untuk server Indonesia – IIX – OpenIXP) kemudian seattle.website.com (untuk server Internasional yang terletak di Seattle US) dan satu lagi dallas.website.com (untuk server Internasional yang terletak di Dallas US). pada jakarta, seattle dan dallas Anda hanya memiliki WHM untuk mengelola paket, dan pelanggan yang menggunakan jasa Anda.

Bagaimana dengan nameserver ? apakah setiap server memiliki nameserver tersendiri ?

Kami menggunakan 3 server dns terpisah yang terletak di 3 benua berbeda yaitu Amerika, Eropa dan Asia. Dimanapun letak pelanggan Anda, Dns server yang digunakan tetap sama.

WebHost Manager 11 Documentation – Overview

This user manual is designed to familiarize new users with the WebHost Manager Interface; and also to provide extra knowledge for current users. This manual will focus on the tasks involved with installing, configuring, and administrating your server’s web hosting needs using WebHost Manager.

There are many terms and abbreviations in this manual that may be unfamiliar to you if you’re new to server administration and web hosting. We recommend purchasing a guide to System Administration to get familiar with how your server works and web hosting in general. You can also find information about the terms and abbreviations used in this manual by searching for them on a search engines such as Google.

To move from one section to another, use the list on the right side of your screen. Click on a section to reveal the tasks associated with that part of WebHost Manager. Click on a subsection in the table of contents for more information on that subsection and the tasks associated with that subsection.

This manual is arranged to mirror the WebHost Manager interface and therefore is not arranged by specific tasks. To search for specific tasks that you would like information about, use the search at the top left-hand part of your screen. For example, if you wish to find out how to add a “nameserver”, type “nameserver” into the search field and then click on SEARCH.

NOTE: Some Troubleshooting sections are for advanced users only. These sections may require that a SSH session is open on the server and that commands are run from the command line. We recommend only using these sections if you are comfortable with administrating your server as they may result in downtime. If you are uncertain of the cause of a problem, or are not comfortable using the commands outlined in these troubleshooting sections, please contact your web host or cPanel for support.
