In this maintenance window, SAVVIS engineers will be continuing work to move several regional backbone circuits to a new hardware platform. This new platform will provide better scalability and more robust connectivity benefiting both SAVVIS and our customers. While performing this maintenance, customers will experience degraded or lost connectivity.

This action has been scheduled to occur between 0001 and 0500 CDT on Sat Sept 8, and again between 0001 and 0500 CDT on Sun Sept 9.

Maintenance Action: Backbone router hardware replacement

In this window, SAVVIS engineers will be replacing defective hardware on a local Hosting Router (“HR”). As this work is performed, customers may experience latency or other connectivity issues when traffic shifts to/from redundant connectivity.
